WHAT IS PATHFINDER?

Pathfinder is an organization for boys and girls aged 10-15 years of age. They learn about God, nature, drill maneuvers, and the Bible. They are involved in missionary activities, campouts and other community service projects. They do craft, train in health and safety, earn badges, and do things to help young people to grow physically, mentally and spiritually. The club attends several camporees and campouts each year. Pathfinders as a Ministry

Pathfinders is the kind of ministry that can be truly inviting and beneficial to the community surrounding a club. Many ministries focus on converting people to the church through sermon or Bible study only. the Pathfinder Club ministers to people through lifestyle and example. This method provides the community with a more comfortable environment for fellowship with a church that is not their own. This organization builds on group activities and fellowship, not simply in peer groups, but by mixing all ages, from child to adult. Pathfinders helps to facilitate the raising of children in a conservative manner, through positive reinforcement and Christian lifestyle; and by guiding youth and adults of both church and community in developing balanced physical, mental, social, and spiritual lives. The program teaches scripture and lessons from biblical lives while not intimidating non-members of the church. This approach to ministry is more appealing to those who are tentative about the church and Christianity. Sometimes we invite friends of our children to join who inventually join our sabbath through the Pathfinder Club. Its a fun filled Club and Nairobi East Pathfinder Club would like to cordially invite all those who have not joined to join urgently to help us get the fun filled activities that our teachers and counsellors would like to teach us. What ever we do are based on "Mission and Social Action".
